Opening Hours
Green Apple Nursery is open 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, throughout the year, excluding Easter Monday.
In addition, the Nursery is closed for one week at Christmas. We have an additional option of early drop off from 7.30am.

| 8am - 9.00am | Children arrive; greet parents, free flow play, snacks/breakfast on offer. |
9.00am - 9.15am | Welcome Time (sing welcome song, days of the week, weather, "What I want to learn at nursery today") |
| 9.15am-11.15am | Free flow play indoor and outdoors, discussions with children, Planned learning experience time for individual children or small groups. |
| 11.15am - 11.30am | Clearing up, washing hands, Group discussions, songs/story time. |
| 11.30am-12.15pm | Lunch for all children |
| 12.15pm-1.30pm | Toothbrushing & Sleep Time for some children ( children allowed to wake up in own time) |
| 1.30pm - 2.00pm | Afternoon children arrive: |
2.00pm-2.15pm 2.15pm-3.00pm | Welcome Time (sing welcome song, days of the week, weather, "What I want to learn at nursery today") Free-play indoors and outdoors |
| 3.00-3.15pm | Hand washing, Snacks for those children who are ready for it |
| 3.15pm - 5.30pm | Free flow play indoor and outdoors, discussions with children, Planned learning experience time for individual children or small groups. |
| 5.30pm-6pm | Tidy up time |
| 5.30pm - 6.pm | Goodbyes, talking with parents/carers about their child's day |
Copies of the short term, mid-term plans and weekly activities planned for all children are displayed within each playroom for parents/carers.
This routine is flexible to the needs and interests of the children
